Shipping
All ZenBox orders ship directly from Tokyo, Japan via Japan Post. International shipping is free on all subscription plans.

- Estimated delivery: 5–21 business days depending on destination
- Carrier: Japan Post (tracked international shipping)
Shipping Terms (Incoterms)
All orders are shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms as defined by ICC Incoterms® 2020. Under DAP, ZenBox is responsible for delivering the goods to your address and bears all shipping costs and transit risks. The buyer is responsible for import clearance and all charges imposed at the point of import.
Customs Duties, Import Taxes & Fees
The price displayed on zenboxjp.com includes the product and free international shipping only. The following charges are not included and are the sole responsibility of the buyer as the importer of record:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Value-added tax (VAT) or goods and services tax (GST)
- Brokerage or disbursement fees
- Carrier handling fees
These charges are determined and collected by your local customs authority or delivering carrier upon delivery. ZenBox has no control over these amounts and cannot predict them in advance. We strongly recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order.
Product Classification
ZenBox products (Japanese bath salts) are classified under HS Code 3307.30 — Perfumed bath salts and other bath preparations. Country of origin: Japan.
Important Notice for U.S. Customers
As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. de minimis exemption ($800 duty-free threshold) has been suspended for all countries by executive order. This means all international shipments to the U.S., regardless of value, may be subject to customs duties and fees.
The tariff and trade situation remains fluid. For the most current information, please check directly with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Refused or Returned Packages
If a package is refused at delivery due to unpaid customs duties or import taxes:
- No refund will be issued for the original shipping cost.
- The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- If customs authorities dispose of the package, no refund will be issued.
- Product refunds (excluding shipping) will only be considered once the returned package is received and inspected by ZenBox in Tokyo.
